Bonnie and her cousin Addie short for Adelina, have not seen each other since they were kids. For the summer, Bonnie decided to take a trip and visit her older cousin in Maryland to escape all of the drama in Mystic Falls. But it turns out that Addie possesses the gift of magic also. Addie has been practicing magic since she was eight, giving her more range over magic. Now that it's time for Bonnie to return home she invites Addie to come back with her to help with all the drama. Addie accepts without question. But Bonnie did forget to mention one thing. The Original Family happened to be her drama.
