Deep below the crystal blue ocean, a two gems fight for a cause. Lapis Lazuli, a former war prisoner of the Crystal Gems, fights to keep Malachite stable so that it cannot hurt Steven. Jasper, a big and black-hearted soldier dedicated to get master, Yellow Diamond, fights to take control of Malachite so that she can destroy the Crystal Gems. But as Jasper learns more about Lapis, she finds herself having instincts to protect her, and Lapis beings to feel sympathy for the war machine. But as the eve of a Homeworld invasion threatens Lapis's life, along with every life on Earth, will Jasper and Lapis finally realize where their loyalties lie? Will Lapis be shattered by Yellow Diamond? Will Jasper be able to protect Lapis from impending doom? Will the Crystal Gems go from 5 members to 7? And will more secrets be revealed?

Steven Universe: Ghost Gem
Phantom Quartz were among the rarest and most intelligent of Homeworld's elites. handcrafted by White Diamond herself as her personal tacticians, advisors, and enforcers. Unlike other Quartz soldiers, they were not bred for brute strength but for superior strategy, logic, and precision. Each Phantom Quartz was unique, regarded as a treasured creation, a near-perfect fusion of power and intellect. But perfection is fragile. During the Gem War, when Homeworld saw no other option but to unleash the planet-wide blast, it meant sacrificing both Crystal Gems and their own forces. In one cataclysmic moment, nearly every Gem on Earth was presumed wiped from existence, including White Diamond's precious Phantom Quartz. But not all of them were lost. One Phantom Quartz remained, poofed before the corruption wave hit, trapped in a bubble by Rose Quartz for reasons unknown. Left to drift in forgotten ruins for centuries, he only reawakened in the present day, emerging into a world where Homeworld had abandoned Earth, the war was long over, and his kind had become little more than a myth.

Steven has returned to Beach City for a while to catch up with all his friends and family. But a new alien threat has shown itself after a war in eons past. And they are far stronger than ever with one soldier in particular. This soldier was half-gem just like Steven. Can the gems make peace with this fierce enemy?

Steven, Homeworld, Danger... Diamonds... Those words don't sound too comforting together, right? Who said this was a comforting story? For Steven and the gems, things finally don't go right. When Steven is separated from Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl during the attempt to retrieve his father from the zoo, he is found, and quickly identified as a rose quartz gem... and not just any, but the rebellion leader's own son. Blue and Yellow Diamond create a master plan to finally eliminate the Crystal Gems, and Steven is the key to doing so. All they have to do is play a game of emotions, and things will soon fall into their hands, due to a very unlikely snitch. Will Steven be able to resist the Diamonds and escape, or will Steven's Universe crumple because of himself? (Rated T, to be on the completely safe side, but I seriously doubt there will be anything too bad in my fanfiction, as I am trying to make it as close to the style of the show as possible!
