Music can take you to places where no man can walk, nor bird can fly. For Arnold however, that place is Venice in the year 1698.

Arnold has never had a family. Still, he's always had music to guide him through life. Whilst hiding from his pushy foster parents and his many problems, he finds a shoddy old piano and some simple sheet music with 'Remember The Notes' scrawled on the top. He plays the song and gets transported back to when the song was first played... Venice, Italy, 1698.

Here he meets Barty, the eccentric inventor of the piano, an elderly man who feels his invention was just one big waste of the little time he has left. The people of the era are quick to dismiss it, as he struggles to play anything of worth to the Venetian patrons. In a night of rage, he destroys the piano, sickened at how it wasted so many years of his life.

This leaves Arnold with no way to return to the modern age, so he must convince him that the re-creation of the piano is for the good of humanity. However, time is quickly running out as Barty is rapidly descending into the unreturnable grasp of dementia.

Chase Madison had a tough childhood. Raised in a broken home and struggling with undiagnosed ADHD, he was constantly in trouble, injured, and outcast. Life didn't get much better as an adult. Jailed, abandoned by family and friends, and fired from his job, Chase walks through life looking for the next bad thing to happen. But then he meets the Caelans. They look like and act like us, but they are not from this planet. They've lived here for years, posing as people of Earth, hiding in plain sight by using a mental ability called 'psy' to influence us-purely for the purpose of maintaining their secret identity. They have always been completely and utterly peaceful. Their planet had conquered and eradicated anger long ago. Something has suddenly changed, however, within the Caelan people here on Earth. After more than 50 years of peace, anger has infected some of them-like a sickness-forcing all 939 to be quarantined here. And when they meet Chase, they discover something even more disturbing-their psy does not work on him. His immunity to their power presents a serious security risk. On the surface, there doesn't seem to be anything special about him-other than having ADHD. Could this unusual condition be responsible for such a serious breach of Caelan security? Join Chase on the adventure of his life as he makes wondrous discoveries, improbable friends, terrifying enemies, finds unexpected love, and begins to believe in himself-for the first time in his life.

"Make me," I said challengingly. He looked at me daringly, and then suddenly smashed his lips against mine, he sucked on my bottom lip making me let out another moan, I kissed him back, but then he abruptly broke the kiss too soon, leaving me feeling dizzy. "Now go home, or else you won't be able to walk tomorrow." He whispered in my ear. ***** Have you ever been secretly in love with your friend's crush? Well, Bella has. Suddenly having to move from the city to the suburbs is not something Bella could have even imagined. Her mom got married again after years of getting over Bella's dad and now BAM! Bella's whole life is upside down. She now has to live with two immature guys and a toddler, as well as a step-dad, acting as if life wasn't better when her mom and she were cramped in a little apartment baking cookies. Handling her now big family and joining in the middle of the year couldn't have been worse. Oh, wait, there's a reason people warn you to never say "how could it get any worse?" It all starts in history class when Bella's assigned to sit next to the hottest guy in school (a.k.a. the guy her friend likes). How can she keep herself away from that hot body and personality?! Oh and if this wasn't bad enough, poor Bella meets a sassy brat who comes back from the Bahamas, she's pretty, hot, and is head over heels for Bella's history partner. What happens when the brat starts dating him? Jealousy is an understatement of how Bella feels. So what do you think happens when Bella loses control and doesn't care that he's taken or that he's her friend's crush!?!? ...Well, you'll just have to find out :) All I can say is things get hot and we end up getting chemistry in history. Warning!: Some minor sexual scenes and swearing do appear. Highest ranking: gfbf #2
