I wanted to see how people liked the first chapter/prologue of a book I'm writing to see if I should continue and publish it or just leave it. It's a fictional memoir of a guy who basically goes deaf. Feedback is wanted and appreciated.

This is a story about a deaf character who has lived in a strict religious home. One day he get cochlear implant and instantly hates hearing. His mother instinst on keeping them but he does not. He mother tells him he is not perfect that these are a gift from god. He begans to see he's mother ways are not his and infact abusive, as she harms him and he's been trying to protect the family that doesn't love him back. When his mother is discorvered to be hurting the kids his world changes he is living with his girlfriend and is fighting for an attorney as well as stay on good terms with his sister.Complete
