"Listen to me kiddo! Your getting on that horse and your GOING to race!"

"No," Holly growled trough gritted teeth.

"Well then, I'll just sell the damn thing." Professor Piper turned around to leave.

Holly stood there in disbelief. "You wouldn't!"

"I would if nobody's gonna care for him."

"Wait," Holly said a few moments later and Piper turned around, "I'll do it."

Evelyn Holloway's life seemed perfect. Being the daughter of a wealthy business tycoon and a professional model meant that everything was handed to her on a gold plated platter, even if she didn't want it. With her pedigreed horses and world-class riding instructors, Eves life revolved around horses. However, Eve is constantly under the watch of her parents' critical eyes with expectations of nothing less than perfectionism. To top everything off, Eve had learned that people always try to use her for her status and money. Eve believes she'll never meet a decent person who could look past her wealth, someone she could maybe call a friend. ...Then she meets Ashleigh Ashleigh Sutton is Eves polar opposite. Rocked by her parents' crippling divorce, the only thing Ashleigh seems to have left in her life is her love of horses and a passion for riding. However, her parents' split has left her with barely enough money to afford anymore riding lessons, much less her dream...a horse of her own. Worse, Ashleigh has learned that the people she thought were her friends were really only being her friends out of pity. Ashleigh feels as if there is nobody in the world who can look past her less than desirable home situation and be a true friend. ...Then she get's a job at Eves stable. Working all summer in exchange for riding lessons and showing opportunities seemed like a dream come true for Ashleigh and having a group of people her age with the same love for horses seemed perfect for Eve. However, the group of aspiring equestrians is more competitive than either girl had thought, everyone fighting for the top spot. Time for a summer filled with horses, drama...and maybe friendship...

How does someone learn to be a baby again? To walk again, to play again? And how does a princess learn to be a mother-and to be imperfect? Alex, a 21-year-old engineering student, is suddenly pulled from his world into the land of Equestria. But now, he finds himself in the body of an almost-newborn, forced to relearn everything-while his adult mind struggles to make sense of a world that doesn't follow the same rules of physics as Earth. It's not easy when your body insists on acting like an infant. Princess Celestia, a ruler who has quietly longed to hear the word "Mom," offers to help him find a way home-if such a thing is even possible. Until then, she'll take care of him. Determined not to burden her further, Alex plays the part of a normal foal, hiding his lingering awareness. Can he maintain the charade, or will his struggle reveal the truth? And as Celestia tends to him, will she discover that motherhood isn't about perfection? I wrote this fanfic based on a simple question: Why are there so many stories that approach age change with something like, "Oh, I'm a kid again... good to know" and skipping almost the entire childhood and learning process? If you're interested, follow me on a journey of learning equine biology until midnight, making sense of the magic system, reading articles about motherhood, and improving my grammar skills (English is not my native language-Spanish is-so there might be some odd phrasing. If you find any, please let me know). Cover by vanilla-chan Thank you so much, I love the cover. Thanks to Noobblue for helping me with the idea of the story. Blue

Blue is living example of how brutal the foster system is. The only way she knows how to protect herself is by pushing everyone away, to detach herself from those around her. Trust isn't something she knows how to do. Self-sabotage on the other hand-it's her best talent. After another failed attempt at finding a family, Blue decides to run. She'd rather take her chances alone on the streets than go through another gruelling process of trying to fit in with a new family who would never understand her. Convinced she's destined to be alone, fate intervenes and Blue cross paths with a horse who seems just as lost as she is. She can't explain it, the undeniable connection she feels with the stallion. But whenever she looks at him, she can see her own pain and fear reflect in his eyes-something they both seem to find comfort in. A deep friendship blossoms. A dynamic of mutual understanding and trust is found in the most unlikely way. But with it comes the shadows of a past that threatens to tear them apart and ruin the special bond forged between them. This is a tale of how two lost souls find hope in the most unexpected way, and their fight to protect it.
