A mysterious epidemic that turns humans into zombies arrives at Rio de Janeiro on an infected liner. The Wonderful City is soon taken by panic, with legions of undead roaming on its streets. How will the survivors deal with this terrifying reality? What will the authorities do to prevent the contamination from spreading out of town? What will the zombies do with so much sea, mountains - and meat - at their disposal? Rio de Janeiro will someday return to be the Wonderful City?

Zombie Rio is a trilogy that will bring to the heart of a tropical metropolis - and a worldwide symbol - the drama and the plots generated by the emergence of an incomprehensible catastrophe, when humans turn into the undead. Zombies have never been so fashionable, but it seems they are restricted to the US territory. This time, the epidemic - or whatever it is behind its origin - crosses the US border and becomes a worldwide phenomenon, coming to Rio de Janeiro. Will the city be prepared for the new globalization by-product?
