Temperance travels around the forest with the rest of the gypsies, on the run from the wicked queen. And while the group is doing their usual chores for the night, she is confronted by and bear and a whole heep of the queen's men. She runs back to the group who are frightened by what she tells them. They scatter and she is left alone. Her "night in shinning aromur" Alek, comes to her rescue. They soon figure out, that their love is the most important thing discovered. The two of them journey towards another kingdom, as to avoid being caught by the queen's men. But how long can they avoid them? How can they be so oblivious to the dangers surrounding them? They must put aside their love before it's too late...

Aleah Sullivan wakes up to the sound of her alarm blaring. Another day at the café.
