Life for Fox Grayson is as simple as can be. Eat. Sleep. Go to school. Get good grades. Occasionally help his aunt at her shop ( she just so happens to be a badass witch that can sass spoons). Stay away from crazy perverts who seem to have an obsession for his butt... as well as the rest of his body ( he just had to be born pretty). Avoid getting on the bad side of Hunters with fetishes for pointy things ( seriously, like, where do those guys put all those knives)? Stay in the good graces of stuffy old nobles who run the Underworld ( half of them legitimately look like the love child of Gandalf and Voldemort), and keep up with the hardships of being a teenage Trickster trying to fit in with hormonal, angsty, drama-filled teenage humans. Add all that with the fact that he just so happens to be the remaining few of an ancient race, might be hopelessly in love with the Prince of Dragons, is best friends with a runaway royal Werecat, and is the key to solving one of the greatest mysteries of his world. Yes, the life of Fox Grayson is very simple indeed. Well... Almost.

Gideon Saint is dying for something exciting to happen in his life. With his love of history, he figures an internship at the museum has to be a good start, right? Anything is better than listening to his parents argue or sitting alone in his room doing research no one but him seems to care about. A chance encounter with a magical ring leaves him transported to an alternate version of ancient Wales, or as it was sometimes called, Cambria. 1432 Wales, to be exact. Here magic is the most powerful weapon of all as kings vie for power. Good thing Gideon's teleportation from the present has also left him with the ability to use magic, and he's quickly regarded as a powerful wizard. In this timeline, Wales maintained it's independence, but that's about to change. Henry V is on the throne of the England, and the greatest warrior king England has ever had has set his sights on Wales. Can Gideon help save his newfound friends and master his new powers, while living a double life in the 21st century? Ahem, living people die, dying people live, Henry V is here and he's awesome despite being the main antagonist, everybody is vaguely gay, swords are described in loving detail, people are not, lovely platonic friendships, did we mention swords? Yes, you may learn something about history, but that's a risk you'll have to take. Basically, think of this as a Percy Jackson type of adventure, but it's historical fiction instead of Greek gods. The narrator is 15 and the major supporting characters are 14, 17, and 19. That said, there's nothing in the way of content that's inappropriate for a younger reader. As always if you're not here to go on a fun little adventure find a different story. Trigger/Content: very mild language, some magic violence, fantasy violence. Self-harm is briefly discussed. Adoption issues are discussed as well as brief scenes of a abusive family. Characters briefly mention crushes and or dating, no real innuendos.
