Renée Chancellor was born for one purpose: Being a Donor Baby. Her sister, a victim of bone cancer, often needed some bone marrow transplants, or blood transfusions, etc. Lucky she had Renée.
However, one day, Renèe became extremely ill with a virus. She can no longer be a donor for her crippling sister. Overcome with a fear of losing both daughters, the mother (an immunologist ) rapidly developed plans for a cure for Renée. In doing so, she quickly tracked down all her ingredients, and even picked up an additional substance for her daughter's fast recovery. With her highly experimental concoction and the mystery substance combined, Renée was about to undergo irreversible changes.
Within a few days of ingesting the "cure", Renée was back to her healthy state. Back to being the perfect donor for her sister. However, Renée was much more than healthy, she was exuberantly immune to any and every disease out there. The concoction boosted her brain activity, and unrealistically made her feel no physical pain, and gave her an unlikely power : Rapid regrowth of body parts. The Perfect Donor.
Now transferring her profession to the infamous Bludhaven, Renee receives the taste of the city, which includes all the burglaries, attempted murders, bombings, and vigilantes in unitards back flipping villains. What else did you expect?
In the midst of her work, Renee meets Police Officer Dick Grayson. Enforcing the law may be tough, but stitching up the idiots who almost always come in with injuries may be tougher. As Renee tries to builds an alliance with Grayson, her abilities may come to interfere with her normal (as it can get) life.
