Frank shook his head, "That's sick. " His green eyes looked over at the fence and a pang of sadness echoed through his body.
Everyone they ever loved was dead. But to make things worse, their loved ones rose from the grave. Their eyes were lifeless and they weren't human anymore. They were monsters that took the form of their family and friends. They were zombies.

It's not like I asked for this. I didn't ask. I didn't want this. But now there's nothing in this world that I could want more. Him, next to me. Smiling. Us sitting next to each other. Holding hands.
