So on tumblr I joined the rumbelle fic-a-thon created by the wonderful rumbellelives. I received the amazing prompt from the awesome lokis-tardis-companion19: Belle works at the animal shelter, Rumple comes in to buy a guard dog. Can be AU, can be whatever. I just want Rumbelle and puppies.
I wrote it as an AU version of cursed Storybrooke. Belle works for Astrid at the Animal shelter. No spoilers (so if you don't currently watch OUAT you can still read).

She left the other to be snatched at a later time. She sealed the womb and left no trace of her visit. And no trace of the baby. Belle and Rumplestiltskin had no way of knowing that their child had been kidnapped, and the child grew surrounded by darkness. She escapes from the Dark Realm with a purpose.
