At the close of the 'Destruction' - Mother (Terra) had finally had enough. 
  No more would the humans be allowed to slaughter one another pointlessly. 
  No more would they take the rest of her, and her other children, down with them in the process.

Thus, she called forth Terra Natus (Earth Arisen):
    "They came from the trees, they came from the water, from the rocks, from the plants. Mother Terra calling her other children out from centuries of standing idle, martyrs of a dying world, to fight back.
     Some saw them it is said, saw them walk right up out of the water, saw a boulder unfold itself and stand, just as you or I might. One second a mighty tree, the next? A being, arms stretched up to the glorious sun.
     (And) No sooner did we see them, than they were shooting us down.
     We were finally paying for our sins, and for the sins of our parents, and their parents before them...It was a heavy debt to pay."

Generations later, the Terra Brothers, or Protectors, haven't even seen a human near their borders in so long that rumors of their extinction has spread.
  Rumors which are about to be put to rest in a big way, when Isa (the human) and Salix (the Protector) find their paths inescapably interwoven in the pursuit of eliminating a threat to Mother - the likes of which hasn't been known since the age of human dominance.
  
But what is it?
  And what could have been so terrible as to drive Isa within the Protector's borders in the first place, knowing she would most likely be killed?
  Furthermore, how will Salix and Isa's relationship develop as they come to find, much to their surprise, that the other is not exactly like what they had been lead to believe?

The Gems, an interplanetary race of light-based beings, once linked to Earth, vanished millennia ago. 5,300 years ago, a long and arduous war took place, with over 1000 years of constant fighting. There was death on all sides: Homeworld, the Rebels, humans, all were subjected to the cruel fate of war. For a time, this is what these Gems would do, travel to a planet, destroy all of its biological life, and harvest the planet for it's resources. Such was their way of being: Life, Death, War and Birth. -------------- In the late 90's, the American government secretly unearths advanced machinery, deemed of "alien origin," and aims to weaponise it for their own gain. Their best minds struggle to decipher it however, and the project is shelved within Area 51 due to it being "too advanced." for the current minds. One man however, brings together a secret division of scientists, with the sole purpose of "making the world a better place". -------------- Fast forward to the year of 2013, and a young boy in a star shirt is rushing down the boardwalk while talking to three multicoloured women. This boy, as known by pretty much everyone in the town, was Steven Universe. After catching his breath slightly, Steven notices an older boy stealing a loaf of bread from a nearby grocery store. Determined to stop the apparent "criminal behaviour", Steven rushes into action, startling his three female companions, and soon all four are chasing the older boy.

Enjoying the sensation of Melissa's fingers gently running along his arms, he studied the sarcophagus. This was an odd piece, but something different was bound to resurface eventually. Sifting over the etchings, he tried to make sense of the story upon the stone. The smile left his face. "Those shouldn't be there."

Certainly they could trust that those in power ultimately had the best interests of the people in mind, right? ~~~ Luna slouched low in her seat, staring at droplets of water that ran diagonally down the window of the bus. The sky was a flat, depressing grey and the incessant, soaking rain left her constantly chilled. It was a typical "liquid sunshine" day in the Pacific Northwest. They drove past a single tall scraggly tree on top of a hill shrouded in mist. The creepy tree was full of screaming crows. How could she hear them from inside the bus when she couldn't even seem to hear the voices of the kids around her? Geez, that was an awfully freaking dark image. She shivered and looked away. What did they call a group of crows again? Right, a murder of crows. Perfect. The weather was certainly the only thing that was typical these days, although you'd never know it by looking around the bus at most of the kids as they sat joking and gossiping with each other just like they had before... before that day everything had changed. Idiots.

The First Dawn has concluded; Children of Blight are running rampant, and the last remaining Bastions of humanity are searching and killing for them for their last chance to find one to restore the earth. The World Capital stands above everyone, with a shadow government smothering the people. The power balance has been tipped for a century now- then came a girl named Armageddon, changing the world forever. Lydia Armageddon, born on the nuclear fronts of the decimated America, was sold to be a child soldier of The World Capital and is found out as a Child of Blight, her trait being named 'Convergence.' The world is at risk of war once more, with the starting gun being fired for the race to control her. Subject to all matters of mutilation, violation, and experimentation, she escapes Blight Laboratories and finds that the world outside is no better than the months she spent in captivity. Hatred for humanity forms, and a monster is coming to be, slowly, just as a fanatical religion predicted all those years ago. Father like daughter. Until she decides to rob an old man sleeping by a fire with an empty gun, not knowing her life was about to be changed forever. The world prepares for the second dawn as Armageddon's child is born-their saviour. The world looks red, and Armageddon is there in the middle of it all, atop a mountain of corpses upon Mother Earth's flesh. Earth has Fallen, it's as simple as it states. Ten years prior, They came. The Tephra, came to Earth intending to take over the life baring Planet. A humanoid species more advanced in weaponry, skills and knowledge than the Human race; looked to make it their home. Countries leaders refused to allow such a thing to happen and war soon ensued. Countless lives wasted to the attack when peace and coexistence could have been an option. Human's, losing, resorted to no other option then chemical warfare. Lieth was born in Scottland and migrated to America as a child when she was ten years old, Ten years before the invasion. She was now 30yrs old. The chemical used in the war completely altered her genetic makeup. She stopped growing upon becoming infected and the effects were permanent. The chemical also caused her hair roots to stain a deep green hue giving her a more inhuman hair color. Her eyes defined her the most. They were a brilliant shade of Ember, like flames in a fire. Kaija was Heir to his Father's Reine. The Tephra were a very tall, fit, Agile and fast, clearly built for hunting. They also stopped aging once they hit adult-hood. Dying only due to sickness, accidents or being slain. Kai's hope was to hopefully unite both races, by force if needed. Kai had long white hair that went past his hips. His skin was a tannish cream tone, a scar over his left eye. He had an agile black tail that was adorned in gold armor. Long pointed elf-like ears. He wore black armor with gold trimming that was protective against attacks of any kind, but was very light making it easy for him to move around. Armored boots adorned with climbing spikes and gloves that exposed his razor-sharp claws. The most distinctive feature of all was the golden skill mask he wore that shown is crystalline blue hues. Giving the illusion that his irises were made of the bluest ice. //WARNING Will contain smut and such// !!!SHORT STORY!!!! Old from computer.

I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. (This novel is under revision as of 2-5-19 up until I feel the true motivation to scrub through most of my older work. Also this summary is something to be fixed but until then) A thousand years ago the extermination of Earth from unknown circumstances brought about the end of humanity for the planet. The end of animals, most of nature, technology and everything that advanced in between. After Earth's destruction a new life began with the survivors of the near extinction of humanity. They constructed a singular civilization encased in a wall for protection from outside forces, built on the hope to reproduce and thrive with the life they were forced into. Zykard would be the start of a second life for humans But within that time of rebirth some of the survivors surged with horrors of Pre-Reearth. Heresy, treachery, riots, thefts, murders and revolutions. A need to for order was introduced, and brought about the leader of Zykard and seven factions of ten people. A thousand years later theres a change. An outsider appears and seemingly becomes the new leader of Zykard, bringing more hardships with their hopes. Crimson, a seventeen year old girl faces the verge of adulthood. The final trials being the only gap between her new reality. A new injection to be given to everyone after the trials. She will face the ugly second face of what Zykard really is behind the curtains. Face pain she never thought would be possible and lose what she loves the most. She will understand what it's like to become apart of the Zykard.
