Trust no one. That's pretty much the life motto of aspiring journalist Jacey Emerson, who's been hiding her identity for as long as she can remember. Her father, Warren, left ten years ago when he was employed by the U.S. Army's research branch to work on an allegedly ground-breaking project, some strange guy in a mask has been leaving cryptic letters outside her bedroom window since 10th grade, and she's got anxiety. She scores a full-ride Wayne scholarship to Gotham University, where she meets Dick Grayson and a group of friends she thinks are her ticket to a normal life. But everything she thought she knew is almost immediately thrown out the window. For starters, her dad has managed to make the Army's Most Wanted list, her long-lost brother is alive and well, and to top it all off, the Batman she previously believed to be an urban myth is real as can be. Before long, Jacey finds herself in a race against the GCPD, the Army, three of Gotham's deadliest criminals, and the League of Assassins to find her father and clear his name. But to do that, she'll have to learn to trust all over again.

Off in the distance, where the park is, Tim can see her running away, dark hair flying in the wind. "Real smooth Drake." Damian says, striding towards me. "Should've asked for her number while you were at it." --- "Phantom? That's the name you're going with?" "It's a hell of a lot cooler than Robin." She snaps back at him. "Robin was not a name that I..." Tim grabs Damian by his cape as he marches toward her. "Be nice to the guests Damian." Alfred says in a tired voice, interrupting Damian's rant. "Bite me." He snarls at Ria. --- Dabria Tran has lived in Gotham City her whole life. It is while on patrol that Tim Drake and Damian Wayne spot this camouflaged girl of the night and try to stop her as she breaks into a local convenience store, not to steal the cash but the food.
