Several thousand metric tons of raw materials, hundreds of containers filled withmanufactured goods, dozens of unmarked reinforced containers, several data banks, and one unknown, heavily secured portable storage hold. A typical shipment for the crew of the UTS Destiny, nothing out of the ordinary. That is until strange things start occurring on the ship. At first, it's relatively benign; static on extravehicular communications, deleted or corrupted personal files, strange sounds and items appearing and disappearing. As time passes however, the events become more and more bizarre and dangerous. Is the cargo what it truly seems to be, and more importantly, will the crewmembers of the Destiny survive to their destination, or are they doomed to spend eternity in the cold, dark expense of deep space?

This is a completed novel that has been proofed. Editing will begin in April, 2022. Shortly after the first ships were sent to colonize Mars all communication with Earth was lost. The other ships that were supposed to arrive never did. What had started as the first of many became the only ones. Domes were built to protect the people living there, since Mars could not be conquered as the early scientists had hoped. Rather than their dreams of taming a planet, they settled for living with a place never meant for humans. Kierst is one of the descendants of those early settlers and works on the interior of one the domes. His job gives him the solitude he prefers with both work and home. He has no family and no friends, which is one of the reasons he is chosen to learn the truth about what happened to Earth and why everyone on Mars must return. He is among a small group who are entrusted with the greatest secret of his government. If his group fails, there will be no future for those living on Mars. Their secret fate lies with those who must return to Earth.
