crystal was abandoned by her mother on the front steps of Mrs.Kitty's orphanage when she was just a new born baby. Now 13 years have passed and crystal is still at the same orphanage she was 13 years ago, only now she is struggling to survive. all crystal ever dreamed of was to be was a normal teenage girl, with a normal family that gives her the love that shes been wanting for what seems like forever. when it comes to school its not the bet either. she gets bullied all the time then when she gets home she cuts and cries and thinks of herself as useless and not worthy enough to live. but when a certain famous British/Irish boy band comes to town, looking to adopt crystal finds hope, will the boys give her all the love she has been looking for? or will they make her feel useless like everyone else around her?

So she's kept her feelings a secret, and she's done her best to suppress her emotions these past years, but she's realized that she's been so caught up in making people not notice her that she didn't realize how lonely she would be when no one was watching. Now meet Ryder Knight. School bad boy. Quarterback captain and heartthrob. The kind that wears a leather jacket and has tattoos all over his arms. The one who shows up to school riding a motorcycle. Just your average run of the mill "if you get involved with this guy, you will meet some serious trouble" kind of male. Well, too bad for Violet, she's stuck with him now. After all of the years of pushing away her feelings for Ryan because of her fear of being seen, she is now all anyone can look at- because of Ryder. Because of him, she can feel their stares, and she hates him for it. The longer they spend time together, the more Ryder starts to realize he actually enjoys being around her-despite her snarky comments about how much she despises him. And if Violet is being completely honest with herself, she's also starting to realize she might not actually hate the fact that people are noticing her now, but hate the way Ryder makes her feel.
