Jacob Portman. A guy who dropped everything and went on a crazy adventure with a bunch of 180 year old people to save a bird, and in the process, fighting invisible ghosts, trying to stop a psychopath bird catching thief from turning into gods, and nearly dying in the process. But, when all is okay and everything they though was defeated in their messed up lives, it isn't. Jacob has a house to share with a bunch of 180 year old kids, but with those people, secrets are now unleashed. Jacob has a dark past reveled to him. Now its his mission to figure out his past, present,and future. But will his other friends agree or stop him from going on this dangerous mission? Will they go with him or Let him go by himself? Will they allow themselves to discover the updated version of the world, or the new world? (ha getit) read more to find out,
I do not own these characters expect for the new monsters/characters. though some of the plot has changed. read AN at beginning of this story to confirm what i'm talking about. anyway, all of the other characters belong to the wonderful Ransom Riggs. (ALso a couple swear words are used for continuing the personalities in the original book) P.S this book is started by and 11 year old, so sorry if the beginning is terrible.

This even goes for a small group of friends that recently moved to New York. But are they really mortal? Hailey has lived in Wisconsin all her life, yet she never seems to stay in the same spot for more than a few years. She has seen every crook and cranny of the dairy state, but after an accident, she finds herself in the state of New York. She lives with her grandma in a small house in the suburbs of Manhattan. Despite all she's been through, she loves living with the one person she felt closest to, away from trouble. Until now. Beth has grown up in the Windy City and stayed there for her whole life. Her mom has decided that going to New York for vacation would be a good idea. They're now staying in a hotel close to the beautiful sights of Long Island Sound and hopes to relax. But then she sees something by the Sound. . . . Cornelius has grown up in the ghetto and has learned to be tough. He's picked up many things on the streets and has lived off his wits and strength.
