Jacob Portman. A guy who dropped everything and went on a crazy adventure with a bunch of 180 year old people to save a bird, and in the process, fighting invisible ghosts, trying to stop a psychopath bird catching thief  from turning into gods, and nearly dying in the process. But, when all is okay and everything they though was defeated in their messed up lives, it isn't. Jacob has a house to share with a bunch of 180 year old kids, but with those people, secrets are now unleashed. Jacob has a dark past reveled to him. Now its his mission to figure out his past, present,and future. But will his other friends agree or stop him from going on this dangerous mission? Will they go with him or Let him go by himself? Will they allow themselves to discover the updated version of the world, or the new world? (ha getit) read more to find out,

Ren had always been strange. She didn't mind it. She had grown up, along with her cousin Jake, hearing tales of children who could do incredible things. Special children. She believed in their grandfather's stories with all her heart, for a long time at least. Then, like all children, Ren grew too old to believe in her grandfather Abe's stories. Or at least she had to pretend to. She pretended so well, she even forgot her own strangeness. When she travels to Wales with her cousin and uncle, Ren remembers just how strange she is. Just how peculiar. When she meets a certain dead riser, she's not sure exactly how to feel about him and Enoch certainly acts like he wants nothing to do with her. Still, the two must learn to work together in order to keep the little family together and save Miss Peregrine. Will a friendship form? Or maybe something more? Mostly based on the movie and not the book because it's been too long since I've read the book. The characters still belong to Ransom Riggs and not me. Ironically the one time Brielle tries to commit to a man for the long haul, he both cheats on her, rips open a terribly deep emotional wound and leaves her alone in a irreversible situation that she must navigate through. By herself. if she explained it, Many understandably wouldn't know what to do in her predicament. Brielle knows she cant just stand idly. so she focuses on trying to become the woman she's been told (and at one point was certain) she wasn't capable of ever being. all whilst swearing off male companionship; after all that is what got her in this mess in the first place. it's a headache she's sure she doesn't need and she makes that clear to any man that even tries to pursue her in any type of way. so for the life her she cant figure out why her boss's irresponsible nephew, Milan, keeps sliding himself in her life at every corner. Sure, hes a talented photographer that's built an impressive career for himself. But in his personal life He's fickle, terribly carefree and a bed hopping- silver tongued- ladies man that can be hard to get a hold of when needed most. However she'd be lying if she said she didn't enjoy the extra strobe of light he tended to bring into her otherwise dark life. But Brielle will soon realize, that becoming more attached to Milan as he is now will leave her right back if not in worse, condition than any man had ever left her in before.
