Amelia Marie Carter had always been the good girl that did everything her parents told her to. She had always been the ‘perfect’ daughter. Yet she had learned from her parents’ unsuccessful marriage that there were no such things as forever, promises, or happily-ever-afters. She had learned that all things break and that all things must come to an end. She had convinced herself that love was an illusion she didn’t need; especially since her father, an overprotective workaholic, won’t allow any guys to get near his one and only princess.

Cameron Clark is the typical school “bad boy”; charming, flirty and dangerous. He’s everything a girl could dream of and he lives the life every guy dreams of. He doesn’t care about anyone’s opinion except his own, prefers to be out of school and plays with girls’ heart as if it were a video game. He can easily have any girl he wants, well, except for one.

Their paths meet and Amelia learns something new; that there’s another side of life other than being what her family expects her to be, and that it’s possible for her to live that life. Her curiosity brings her closer to Cameron, as she’s interested in everything he’s willing to teach her. But they did say curiosity killed the cat.
