Chapter 1: Leaving Home




I waved my last goodbye as the truck roared to life and sped away before I can say 'a'. I cried all morning, hoping all of it was a dream. But it wasn't it was my life, my future, and my braveness. I've been like that my whole life.

 Here's why, my father was on the military before I was born and he left for six months one time when I was three . I cried everyday he was gone. Until one afternoon we got a call from Daddy that said "I'm coming home".

I was so happy in shed into tears, jumping up and down excitedly. My mom and I set up banners, balloons, and w even four cakes because were so happy.

When my Daddy came walked into the house with his uniform, I ran faster than I ever ran before. When I reached him I jumped up and carried his hat around all day.
