The witches the Starling's came from, were cursed to remain eighteen years old forever. They also were to feed off people's souls if they wanted to gain strength that would allow them to use magic. The only way to break the curse for a witch was true loves kiss.
Aurora Starling left her old solitary life back in RavenWood with no intentions on coming back, but ten years later, she has decided to return only because she has been having bad dreams that she knows are linked with her twin sister, Castella's, nightmares. Upon return, she realizes that life hasn't changed one bit for the Starling girls back in RavenWood. They are still as reclusive and secretive as ever, but she doesn't blame them. When you're a witch that comes from a famous blood-line of powerful witches, it is smart to stay on the down low.
Except, even though Aurora is from this lineage, it is not in her interest to live as a hermit. She knows that Castella's nightmares are spawned from the refusal to embrace who she is, so Aurora makes it her mission to get Castella out of the house, and embrace her desires.
Only, she didn't know how much her own life would change in the process.
The night she dragged her sister out to a party at Stony Ridge Lake, was the night she met the Dolan twins, two of the hottest, and richest boy in RavenWood. Immediately attracted to them, she decides to have some fun. What was games at first leads to something more serious, and a way for her to break the curse that weighs down on her life.
