Charlotte Button can see things that many others can't. Charlotte can see Spirits, not Ghosts, but Spirits, totally different things. Charlotte had always hated the Spirit World, she hated being different and seeing things, but she couldn't change, that was who she was. She was a Spirit Helper, much like a mediator, but for Spirits. When Charlie and her family moved to a new house, she didn't imagined the house to be an old, beautiful, gigantic mansion, and she didn't imagine it to be haunted with cursed Spirits either... But there was one specific Spirit that can break the curse, since he's the one who made it in the first place, though this Spirit isn't like any others... This Spirit lived in Charlotte's bedroom and he thinks she was his dead finace re-encarnated... And maybe... Charlotte had feelings for him...

Lingling Kwong just wants to graduate, survive her half-time jobs, and not completely lose her mind writing her final thesis. Easier said than done when you're broke, burnt out, and living off instant noodles in a creaky old apartment your parents are barely managing to pay for back in Hong Kong. Her thesis topic? The mysterious death of Orm Kornnaphat-a beautiful, kind-hearted woman whose case was left unsolved and buried in silence. Ling expected late-night research, maybe some spooky vibes at worst. What she didn't expect? Seeing Orm. Like, actually seeing her. Blonde hair. Soft smile. Floating three inches off the ground. Oh, and haunting her apartment. As Ling digs deeper into the past, Orm sticks around-clingy, chaotic, and way too attractive for someone who's technically dead. From flickering lights to flying cutlery to accidental ghost cuddles, the line between fear and affection starts to blur. But falling for a ghost comes with more than just spectral kisses and phantom puns. If Ling doesn't solve the mystery of Orm's death, the girl she's falling for might be trapped forever. Fun. Scary. Chaotic. One's alive. One's dead. And somehow, they might just be each other's unfinished business.
