"Caroline, please, just talk to me..." 
I heard Klaus say with some desperation in his voice. 
"This is all your fault...."
I said quietly, still not facing him.
"Cmon love, that isn't tr-"
"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!! AND DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME LOVE!!!" I shouted standing up and turning to face him.
"IF YOU HADN'T GONE AND MESSED MY LIFE AND EVERYONE ELSE'S LIVES UP THEN MAYBE TYLER WOULD STILL BE HERE AND BONNIE WOULDN'T BE DEAD!!!" 
"Caro-" 
"DON'T YOU EVEN TRY TO TALK YOURSELF OUT OF THIS ONE, WHEN EVERYONE GETS BACK I SWEAR I WILL-" 
I was cut off by Klaus grabbing me. I felt his hands go around my neck and then every thing went black.

Basically, after Tyler leaves town to get away from Klaus in season four, Caroline runs into the woods and is soon followed by Klaus. This sets off chain reactions that just might lead to Caroline's Surrender.
