Ryder Carter. Zack Hayes. Bad boy, drug addict. Athletic soccer player, role model.

Ryder is known as the gay freak who loves to party. He shows up to anything he wants to, even when he's not invited. His parents have given up on him. They tried so hard to help him; putting him in group therapy, one on one therapy, family game night. He got the way he is because of his twin brother's death by a hit and run. And to top that off. His boyfriend committed suicide the day after because he only dated Ryder because he looked exactly like his straight twin and once he found out the news, he couldn't take the pain. He felt he had to be with him.

Zack is a cheery, openly gay boy who loves everyone and doesn't care what people think of him. He loves his family and cherishes the time with them. He rarely goes to parties, but when he does, he doesn't drink. He refuses to take anything given to him by those at the parties. He has two sisters that he holds very dearly to him.
