Jane Phillips, 18, is your normal girl who's lived in Cheshire for all her life. She lives in a small neighborhood with friendly people where everyone knows everyone. When the new kid, Harry Styles, moves in next door to her, she feels like he's constantly watching her and is always finding ways to be around her. Does he suspect something unusual? Is that why he's taking concern into her life? Jane tries to distant herself from Harry as much as she can because he seems like bad news and she doesn't want to get involved. She's {somewhat} content with her life and doesn't need some bad boy to roughen it up. Will Harry find a way to squeeze into Janes life? How far is he willing to go to get her to notice him?

harry was just like any other boy his age. Sure he didn't have many friends but at least he had one. One friend was good enough for him. He was happy with this friend but the other kids treated him as a freak. harry didn't understand why. A part of him thought that it was because he was so different from others but it didn't matter. As long as he was with his friend, he knew everything was going to be alright. At least harry thought everything was going to be alright. He remembered being out on the yard playing with his friend. He remembered a black car driving up to his house. He remembered his parents both crying in each others arms. He remembered being taken to the hospital. harry wasn't sick. He didn't have to be in hospital. There was absolutely nothing wrong with him. He went to school just like every other kid, he did his work just like everyone else, he even did his chores with minimal complain. But there was one problem. That friend wasn't real.
