In the year of 3100, humans live in fear of the vampire race, which has took complete control of some parts of the world. In the small town of Locksley, 16 year old Amy, lives in peace, taking comfort in the fact that no vampires have inhabited Locksley for hundreds of years. Except for the day when murders start happening, and the culprit is definitely a vampire. Amy becomes a lot more cautious then usual, especially because of the well know human trafficking in other places, humans being sold to vampires as slaves. She thinks she's in the clear until she is informed of a contract her parents have signed against their free will, selling her to the psychotic vampire that has committed the murders, Sir Matthew Greendale, a boy who actually goes to Amy's school, and had taken an odd interest in her.
