Alexander Lightwood was a normal boy. He was quiet, got good grades in school, and was quite boring in fact. His parents were government officials which meant he didn't go anywhere without his bodyguard, Magnus Bane. Alec has known Magnus all his life and the two were practically inseparable. What happens when Alec finds out who Magnus truly is and what happened in his past? Will Alec be able to cope with the fact that his protector and best friend is supernatural? Or is the more pressing thing on his mind the fact that he is falling for that best friend?
