to warm cold stone hearts seemed impossible, but two volleyball players with such hearts found themselves breaking each other's bit by bit. watanabe hara was called one of the best aces in the country, currently studying at shiratorizawa along with another well-known player. as her life laces together with ushijima wakatoshi after a series of quite unfortunate events, she finds herself slowly warming up her so-called stone heart for him. ushijima wakatoshi never really cared much about romance, and everyone around him thought so as well. his head was full of volleyball this and volleyball that, so when his involvement with the female captain and ace of the shiratorizawa girls' volleyball club surfaces, never did they think that his stone heart that was only set to love a sport would ever fall for someone who had the same heart as he does. ••••• this was written in 2019.
