Roxii Cowen woke up that morning like it was any other day. Little did she know that the world around her had fallen apart virtually overnight. Seemingly the only survivor of a devastating virus, she has to fight her way out of the city she once called home in order to preserve her life.

On the way out, she meets one other survivor, a man that says there is a safe haven full of others like them... on the other side of the country.

Join Roxii and her living companion as they fight for their lives... and maybe for love... in a world that has been forsaken and destroyed.

Leaving a raw humidity that was both a reprieve from the heat, but also a constant reminder of it. Some say the rain falls to keep the heat at bay. I think the rain falls today as a tribute to those affected by the virus and all the tears they cried. A small apology from Mother Nature meant to soothe those scorned by the havoc she unleashed. A comfort meant for all those unsuspecting victims of the sickness. -------------------------------------------------- The highest rankings: #19 in infection #40 in disaster #40 in infected #67 in disease #46 in zombieoutbreak
