On a spring break vacation to Walt Disney World, Rebecca (Bex) Rosen is in the middle of a tragic shooting. Bex doesn't know what to do. The guy who does it shoots someone, a girl who looks familiar to her, and then shoots himself. Months later, while getting ready for her 8th grade semi-formal, she finds an old newspaper in her crazy mom's old cabinet. The newspaper shows that her funeral was on April 11, 2016 (her half birthday). Bex struggles to find what is real and what is fantasy. With a decision to make, she has to choose if wants to stay dead or if she wants her best friend or her boyfriend to take her place. What will she do. She has to make a decision before she fades away, one last time.
