I Can't Help But Run

As the sun meets the ground, the sound of the train on rails, fills my ears. My feet are dangling off the train, my back leaning on the frame of the exit, and I feel tears roll down my cheek and fall on my dirty tattered clothes. I turn my head and see a boy with beautiful blue eyes. They're full of relief but still filled with pain. His broken hand rests on a sling which sat on his lap.I could see his white pearly teeth through his side smile which gracefully sat on his face as he caught my eyes on him. His black clothes are as tattered and dirty as mine, and his messy blonde hair falls into his eyes.

Hailey is a 18 year old girl who ran away from home with her younger brother hoping to run away from her past.
