Even I wouldn't want to see you on the streets, Four.'' ~~~ After the IGBP movie, the SMG4 crew is left with a gaping demonic pit where the castle once stood, but ignoring Princess Peach, everyone still has a place to stay. Except Four, of course. SMG4 had originally planned to stay with Mario, but at the last minute he backed out of the offer, not wanting to impose on Luigi. Back to square one, it seemed... until his old rival decided to help him out, just this once. For some weird reason. Well. Yup. My first cringy story. I suppose I should quit wallowing and tell you the story. Yup Mario and his friends are headed towards a supposedly fun, happy night to celebrate a new arrival in town, but when people start dying and going missing, it's up to them to survive the night. It's weird enough that the host is an unruly character with shady relationships, but now they all wonder if they will survive this inevitably gruesome night... As you navigate these strange and unsettling dimensions, it becomes your mission to bring some semblance of warmth and hope back to these fractured versions of your friends. SMG4: The Power Crystal (Episode)
As the SMG4 gang stumble and find themselves lost inside of a mysterious forest, they discover a glowing cave that holds a sacred crystal that is said to grant good fortune and power, but also dangerous consequences. To the groups surprise, the crystal gives each and one of them a special power. Except for SMG4. When they realize what kind of power the crystal really holds, SMG4 decides to take it back to the Showgrounds for further inspection and safety. Not just for that... but to also figure out why all of his friends have something special within them, but he doesn't. But what he doesn't realize is that power is hungrier than the people who want it. ("Episode" in the title basically means that it's an episode length instead of the usual novel or "movie" length.)
