Lets go through the life of 17 year olds Kayvion Mendez and Aaliyah Porter. Aaliyah and her mom have to move away and are introduced to a whole other world. Aaliyah is trying to enjoy her last year of high school but can she put her life's drama to the side to turn up while she can? Lets not forget, her best friend has issues as well and moves in with Aaliyah and her mom...can she keep her best friend or will their friendship be tested. Sometimes you can love someone...you just cant LIVE with them.
Kayvion has been through some crazy stuff. With his mom dead, his dad incarcerated, and a record..can he be successful? Will he bring about a new legacy for his last name and his family or will he follow his family's steps and end up behind bars again? Can he change for good or will things get to be too much and he starts to give in to the streets?
