Groaning deep in my throat I place my left arm over my eyes and wince at the soreness in it. I run my right hand over the scarred flesh- a constant slap in the face, reminding me that I am an undesirable. Therefore, I am hunted and never loved.

Jamison Desroche is being hunted. He lives in a highly prejudice world where you have to be perfect to survive- literally. On his run from the government, Jamison finds the meaning of friendship, love, and realizes that the most dangerous thing one could ever do is to love and protect another. Will he be able to keep his new found friends safe from the fate he knows is hot on his heels? Or will he become yet another victim of injustice?
