What better way to honor Alan Rickman's death than to write a fan fiction on why his character was not the great person everybody thinks that he is. For the record, we do not hate Snape, we just think that he turned his childhood friendship/crush into a creepy obsession.
In her second year, Lily turns down all of James's advances, and hangs out with Severus all the time. Sixth year, however, is a different story. Lily and James start to date, and Severus feels rejected, because what was once friendship and turned into a creepy crush, that was borderline obsession.
This is our first draft, and we will be editing this

My feet were nailed to the floor and I could only stare at her. I saw my school career at Hogwarts pass me by in a flash as I imagined what she would do if she caught us here. But then I felt a hand in mine. He pulled me back just as Madam Pince took one last step forward causing her to collide with us. He had dragged me behind a cabinet and we looked between the books as she stared for a moment more at where we had just stood. "Must be Potter and his trouble-making friends," she muttered, "always messing with me... little mischiefs." Book 1 - year 1 and 2 of a series about the marauders from Lily Evans POV. Lily Evans gets a second change in life to change her past and therefor the future of all those around her. The 22-year year old woman trapped in the body of her past self starts her first year at Hogwarts, but after a couple of months her memories of her past self start to fade. She gets more and more accustomed to her new life and soon forgets that she ever fell in love with James Potter or that her best friend will become a Death Eater. This story will take place during the marauders time at Hogwarts, all seven years and a couple years after, during the war. As you will notice, I made a few alterations that aren't aligned with the original story, but you will soon discover it's way more interesting to change the timeline a bit and put Lucius Malfoy and Ballatrix Black in the same school as the marauders.Complete

What I'm doing here is taking the Marauders' (James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter), Lily Evans', and Severus Snape's tales of Hogwarts and I'm turning them modern because I don't know what it would've been like when they were actually there so... yeah. This is mostly in the point of view of Lily Evans, but I might switch to James every now and then. I'm going to try and focus a lot of the Marauders, of course, and their relationships with Lily.
