Annie Cresta is a young girl from district 4. Her father works for the Capitol, working out how many entries the children of his district get in their reaping bowl. Her name is only in there a few times, it seems the odds are in her favour, but are they really?
She meets a young boy she knows all too well, Finnick Odair, the Capitol darling, she's heard the rumours. When her world is thrown upside down, he seems to be the only constant, but then there's also Hudson, her fellow tribute...
