2 years ago on Christmas Eve, 13 year old Lucy Marks survived a home invasion gone wrong that left 18 dead along with her older sister Rosie. Immediately after the invasion, her devastated parents took Lucy and her older brother Johnny across the country from upstate New York to a small town in Washington to start a new life while the 2 invaders faced prison. Flash foward to the present, Lucy now 15, has moved on from the invasion and works at the local diner in her small town. She has new friends, a boyfriend, and a new life. News that the 2 invaders died in accidents over a year ago, almost immediately after arrest, has let her sleep soundly at night. But strange occurences, weird "accidents", and the mysterious death of a classmate has left Lucy wondering if her nightmare really is over.
