Scarlett Beaufork is the one and only daughter of the President of the United States of America. Her life is always in the spotlight and she is being guarded at all times. She's quiet, smart, sweet, likable, and beautiful. She wants to be a regular sixteen year old girl, but thanks to the occupation of her father, she can't do that.

Calum Blacklee has blown his last shot with his parents. After getting a three week suspension had his school, his parents don't know what else to do but send Calum to his tough Uncle Kent Blacklee, who happens to be apart of the secret service to the president.

Calum is tough, angry, rude, sarcastic, and a troublemaker, everything that Scarlett isn't. As expected, they don't hit it off at first. But as Kent tries to help Calum out of trouble, Calum finds that the one person who inspires him to be better is also the one who basically has her own army of men watching her every move, and they do not approve of Calum's bad boy ways.

Calum will do whatever it takes to protect Scarlett and prove to her that he can be good for her.

*Please read this before continuing to the story* I read the first chapter and I understood why I wasn't getting many views lol. I ended up re-outlining this book and doing some serious edits for the first few chapters. I decided I will repost it as a completely separate book on this same account so please check it out!! Scarlett's best friend Delilah has been missing for seven months with no leads. Scarlett's just trying to get through the day and finish her last year of college without any more problems. When she gets a call from Delilah's brother Ezekiel her world is turned upside down with one sentence "I had red velvet cake for lunch." What will happen when they realize they didn't really know Delilah at all?
