Aliyra Graydon. A Dragon Keeper, well really, a princess of Dragons. Her mother, her sister, and her own self are the last of their kind. To let you better understand: Aliyra's family are royal, they are called the Keepers, their blood is mixed with that of an ancient dragon. Their people are called Riders; they are paired by fate with a dragon and become their forever friend.
These people live were the mountains surround them, which form a protective wall. No one knows of this village, of the beast that thrive there, or the bloodline that is dying.
The bloodline can be saved, but only by Aliyra. She may marry, but with no men in her village except the elders and their wives, she is at fault. Or is she? There are four kingdoms surrounding those mountains. Meaning their are four princes awaiting marriage. They are close friends, known each other their whole lives. Their story begins here. Will Lyra risk the knowledge of her people, or risk their extinction?
