Chrysaline, is the second daughter of the demon king, his eldest daughter, Cordelia's big sister, and Karl's true Eve.She is half demon and half angel, with the blood of the founders' running through her veins, since her paternal grandfather was a founder. Originally,  she was supposed to be Karl's one and ONLY wife, but since her father favored her, he gave Cordelia away, tearing the sisters apart. Karl became furious and decided to come up with the Adam and Eve plan to see if the Demon King really did love his daughters, by creating his own demons. 

While Karl was plotting for his demise, the demon king hid Chrysaline away and entombed her in an eternal slumber, away fom Karl. Millenniums later, Karl finally finds her, and he awakens her, planning to take her as his fourth and final bride. However, since Shin and Carla have escaped to look for her, he leaves her at the Sakamaki mansion with his sons and Yui, who holds her beloved sister's heart.
