Shawn had to go on more tours. While Jackie declined all the offers she was given, to be with their baby. Both of them decided it would be better for them to separate.

Shawn kept living in the apartment they had. While Jackie moved in with Kian and J.C. She didn't want her daughter to grow up without a dad. Kian knew that and has helped her alot with the baby. Shawn does visit very often.
