Follow the events of Hunter Rave who after five years of waiting, on his 15th birthday is only hoping to be able to leave his hometown of Korei and travel the region as a Pokémon Trainer. His mother on the other hand doesn't see him fit enough to pursue this and says that he's still too irresponsible to leave home and depend on himself. Frustrated with the news, Hunter decides to take matters into his own hands and packs his bags on his own. In the middle of the night, he sneaks out of his home and down to his Uncle Jamalian's Laboratory to take a starter Pokémon. When he gets there, he almost awakes his Uncle but is successful in retrieving one without his knowing.

With a Pokémon in hand he leaves the Lab. But before he could get far out of town he's met by a man who notices his thievery. Misunderstood as a thief he's challenged by the man to prove his innocence. Though his arrogance got the better of him, as he is no match for the mysterious man. Called "weak" and a "poor excuse for a trainer" he's told that his arrogance almost cost his Pokémon to get more hurt. And from that day forth Hunter vowed to become the strongest he could be so that one day, he could prove that man wrong. Though he has yet to realize that in the time he was sheltered from the world as a child, evil has begun to rear it's ugly head. It's up to him, his allies and the Elite Leaders of Xikigané to put and end to darkness before it ever comes to light~
