Amoï, a beautiful planet in the Garan star system. Once settled by human scientists, it has been taken over the super computer known as, "Jupiter." The society is heavily influenced by the caste system with Elites being at the top, and Mongrels at the bottom. Elites were sectioned by their hair color with Blondies having the utmost control over Amoi. Blondies were created by Jupiter; the only human part of them was their brain the rest being completely artificial. Mongrels were born in the slums, better known as "Ceres" or the "crotch of Midas." This was created when a revolt occurred and citizens left Midas in search of "freedom."
The society is largely males, with females sparse. To make up for this, many new things have come about including "pairing partners" for mongrels, and "pets" for the elites. Pets are artificially made beings that exist only to please their master. Well, at least they're supposed to. Pets often have to be "tamed" by their master, some more than others. Pets are treated like animals and are bred, and taught to do tricks for their masters. Pets are also bought by high ranking citizens who use them for other purposes.
Now, on to the start of the story.

About: Elias; a 16 year old boy is exploring an abandoned science lab with his friend when he comes across a time machine. He doesn't think it works, and steps inside. He is sucked into the future where the world has completely changed. He stepped out, revealing he was now in a new year: winter in 2038. Luckily, it was closed, and he went to find help. He came across Vincent, an android, who helps him explore the world in the future, and attempts to help Elias get back to 2022. However, there are obstacles. Some androids had developed a mind to kill each other. But Elias helps Vince survive, while Vince helps Elias travel back. Elias develops a close connection with Vince, and wants to stay with him in the future even though it is dangerous. He doesn't want to leave Vince in the world, but can't bring him back with him in the past since there are parts on Vince that aren't invented and will disintegrate. They need to figure something out, but what? Read on to find out... Notice: This story contains mentions of heavy violence, light gore, fear, suicide, and bugs. 'watch out humans, there's a Reaper in town. try not to die!' ---- prologue "Mitch we have to leave!" Annabelle yelped, holding a baby girl with black hair and blue eyes in her arms. "leave! go somewhere safe!"
