Elliot Wagner woke up and BAM! Everything around her wasn't like before. Unlike in the past, she had to run around the neighborhood-or even the country- with a hot boy and a kid to find a way to escape this nightmare.

The virus was spreading quickly and even without getting bitten, you might turn into a monster as the plague was very infectious. 

However, in this world, everything was free. You can do everything you wanted to do. There's only one rule, though. You have to survive.

What if, humans became the most gruesome weapons? And the circle of life seemed scarier than death. Everything you once knew was gone. Zombies were said to be impossible, that they'd never happen, well obviously whoever said that had underestimated human curiosity. It started with the melting of the Poles, which uncovered diseases that hadn't been seen in millennia. Obviously, when a flesh-eating parasitical virus was found, scientists in all their glory decided to study it, which led to the greatest calamity in human history. Warning: This is the original book 1, it is now considered more of a prelude/building character relationships arc than a book. This provides backstory and sets the foundation for the characters and their relationships. The action starts in the new book 1 - Migration. - TW: Gore, Cursing, Death, etc. Not recommended for anyone who can't stomach gore or other zombie stuff or LGBTQ+. It starts with a simple itch, nothing more. Maybe a few random spasms or the occasional shudder but you'll think nothing of it. Then you'll get blood shot eyes... Not enough sleep? It gets worse, much worse. The itching turns to scratching, clawing at you skin until it bleeds... and bleeds and bleeds. Then comes the anger which tips you over the top making you brake into a full blown seizure. Madness. You still with me? Well you won't be if they catch you, you'll be one of them...infected.
