This is basically the edited version of Walking Blind. I'll be posting it as a separate story just to make things easier! Chapter 1 is finished.

John Watson, a blind boy, and Sherlock Holmes, a paranoid schizophrenic, meet in an unlikely situation in a park. A friendship forms almost immediately, with Sherlock (and his brilliant mind) accepting John the way he is and vice versa. But John is slowly falling for his male friend. Of course he won't let it show, because Sherlock just doesn't work that way. Or so he thinks.

To his horror, John is somehow caught with the disease. The consulting detective finds himself on the most dangerous, and overwhelming case he has ever been on, one that will test his love for John. And that case is to find a cure for his best friend before he loses him to the strange, apocalyptic disease forever. When valued items of members of their year begin to go missing Sherlock decides to investigate, pulling John into it with him. As things begin to get more sinister leading towards more than just petty thievery the two realise there is something more to it. So they set up a secret society in the school.
