Daniella and Marcus had always been close. For the longest time, it seemed that would never change. Then one day, Marcus came running inside, telling his sister that he'd found something amazing, but she'd have to trust him.
Naturally, she did.
Marcus brought Daniella to a mountain where he said he found a cave. He went running in, but Daniella was scared. She told her brother he would have to protect her.
Naturally, he did.
They climbed down into the cave, but fell. Both stood among the yellow flowers and looked around. There was no way out in sight, but the cave went on in a tunnel. They decided that there must be another way out, and that they could just walk until they found it.
So they did
Their journey started innocent enough, but quickly things changed. Trust is easily broken, protection forgotten. The world they knew, a world in which they would always be there for each other, was shattered. Everything around them was crumbling around them and sometimes there is no safe haven for the patiently brave.
