It's been more then a few years since the dead started to rise and destroy all of humanity. now it's either kill or be killed... people shoot first ask questions later and murder others for sake of your own survival. 

THE ARCHER: Megan is a lone wolf. she hunts in stealth and stays inside the cover of the forest. she's not much to engage with human interaction or one for having conversations. she stays hidden away from other people... she could never decide who the real monsters where, the humans, or the flesh eating dead. 

THE SNIPER: works best alone, is faster and most accurate in high places. does his best to avoid people and the infected but knows when he has to pull the trigger. he's always on the move, never stays in one place. he likes to stay inside the cities and towns for days at a time and while moving actionably cuts threw the forest or the woods. the forest was always quiet and unoccupied by people...

What would you do if one second you were struggling to survive with your friends and mother in tow, and then you wake up to find yourself with a group of strangers the next - all during the country's takeover of blood-thirsty zeds? Megan couldn't believe her eyes. Her brain was muddled with confusion she couldn't get rid of, no matter how many times those strangers reassured her and explained what happened. But she had to accept it, even though it didn't make any sense to her. Megan had been with her mother every step of the way since everything turned to chaos, beginning just a year before, and now she was nowhere to be seen. And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. Two girls fighting for survival, in a destroyed world. A world where people eat each other and are beyond recognition. Can they trust each other? will they be able to make it to the end together? They WILL survive They CAN survive They SHOULD survive And they do it TOGETHER... or not... a part from the book: I kill one with my ice axe and pull my gun out to shoot another coming close. 1... 2... I pull my ice axe out of the head of the zombie I just killed and put my gun back in, to immediately reach for my knife, and directly throwing at a Z. 3... We continue killing. 4... 5... 6... I hear them all breath heavily. 7... Shit, my arm starts hurting, but I can't stop, or else I get killed. I deepen my ice axe into one zombie, and push another one away with my leg, to hit it afterwards. 8... 9... *Not edited* #3 in virus #10 in Mutation #17 in Zombies #35 in disaster #43 in disease

Katherine Burns is one tough sniper. Stealthy, smart, basically invincible. But when her group leaves her behind, she's left vulnerable and weak. But just when she thinks it's over for her, she is saved by none other than 10K. They travel for two weeks before coming across a camp, where Kat finds one she's been missing forever. Kat wants to stay, but 10K decides to leave, which causes Kat to leave, bringing two old friends along. As they travel, there is nothing but tension between the group. Jealousy and envy is always around. Soon, 10K can't take it anymore, and he leaves. Kat, of course is heartbroken, but she before she can find him, her old group catches up. Will Kat find 10K? Will she forgive him for leaving and breaking her heart? Will Kat realize who she truly loves? I don't own any characters except for Kat, Zach, Lena, and thank you creative_writer_101 for Rose. Sorry for the summary, I hope the story is better. And, this is basically only 10K. There really isn't any other characters in this fan fiction. In the second book/sequel, they will be introduced.
