Rebecca lives in World War Three America. She knows her parents, former scientists, discovered Utopia, the country that is taking over the world. Utopia has amazing technology and ruthless leaders. That is a secret Rebecca must hide but doesn't have a problem with. What she does have a problem with is what she heard some teenage girls saying one day. Mary and her friends have a plan that they know only Rebecca and her best friend Ella can pull off, but it betrays America, the country Rebecca and Ella believe in, and more importantly Rebecca's parents. Can she do it? What will her parents think? What will her country think? Is this dystopian America?

Outcasts takes place in a dystopian world in an undetermined year in the future, and the political parties depicted in this story - the Republicans and the Democrats - are in no way, shape or form a commentary on their real-life counterparts. I had very little knowledge of American politics when I wrote this story, and if I could go back and change their names I would. Throughout the story you will read of absurd flaws in both party agendas, and in no way did I ever intend to shame or defame the real life Republican and Democratic parties of America.
