THIS IS A SEQUEL TO HEARTS OF GLASS

Tempered glass - Toughened glass that, when broken, breaks into rounded edges, unlike the jagged shards of regular glass, thus creating less chance of serious injury. In the novel Hearts of Glass, Sarah and Sam were together for a grand total of 25 days. 25 days doesn't seem like very long. But it was enough time to fall in love. And enough time to cause deep wounds when it's over. Their hearts are completely broken, shattered as if they truly were made of glass. Now they are trying to heal and rebuild their lives. They are determined to never let their hearts get so completely shattered again. Their hearts must become toughened, replaced now with tempered glass. But even while doing so, the shards that are embedded inside must work their way to the surface.
