In the far future, genetic engineering is used to strip all sapient species of disability. But when humans have a brief fad of natural birth, disabled children start reappearing. They're quickly termed "Pandoras," the value of their very lives brought into question, and laws are put into place to prevent their births from happening ever again.

Xandri Corelel is one of these Pandoras, a young autistic woman scorned by her family and fighting to eke out a living on the streets of Wraith. Then she meets Chui Shan Fung, captain of the first contact and refugee ship Carpathia. Captain Chui has been watching her, and knows about the talent for understanding alien species that Xandri has cultivated. She wants Xandri as part of her crew--but first, Xandri must pass a test to see if she'll even fit in.

Wary but hopeful, Xandri joins the Carpathia at Psittaca, a newly-discovered planet peopled by parrot-like sapients. Learning to understand this new species is the easy part compared to trusting her new crew mates. As Xandri continues her diplomatic efforts with the Psittacans, it becomes apparent that the Carpathia's crew aren't the only ones to have discovered the planet, but these other visitors don't have good intentions. In order to protect this beautiful new world, Xandri must find it in herself to overcome years of abuse and neglect, and trust in her new crew.

100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. With Iron Guard, the resistance outside the walls, hunting the Purebloods too, will the trial save human race before it's too late? #3 in #dystopianfuture (27.06.2020)

For Ana, it felt like a switch had been turned on inside her. She could sense freedom, imagine possibilities she hadn't thought possible. She wants to leave her caregivers, and when she does, she wants to take Evan with her. In fact, she must take Evan, because he is the only one who can show her the way to The Place - the only place she can recall ever feeling completely happy. ... In a world that bleeds with environmental disasters, genetic mutations become more common - some genes get lost and other, silent genes get turned on. Nature offers infinite possibilities to ensure life continues through genetic codes that struggle to survive, unheard and often unnoticed. It is a battle where dominant, aggressive genes best suited to the environment will succeed. Both Ana and Evan have been labelled with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) - a genetic disorder, affected by the environment. It is a world wide condition, knowing no boundaries and increasing rapidly. Since disabilities such as ASD are triggered by our changing environment, and since these disabilities are rapidly changing and increasing in frequency, it is entirely possible that the ideal "disability" could give some humans an evolutionary advantage over other humans. ... Imagine having a disability so severe you need 24 hour care. Imagine wanting to leave your home and caregivers to live in the one place you feel at peace. Imagine discovering you have abilities far beyond the norm. Imagine finding other people with similar abilities and disabilities, willing to risk everything to follow you. Imagine freedom. Ana did.

Back cover In the late twenty-second century Humans have reached the stars, and they are not the first. Ancient technology has literally propelled them into the galaxy, and they find themselves far from alone. Three civilisations, more advanced by millennia, rule vast areas of space by cooperating with each other as the all-powerful Citadel. There are many other, less powerful species; Humanity is forced to join their ranks, low in the pecking order. As they explore and colonise new worlds, the Systems Alliance of Humans encounter the Batarians. Skirmishes ensue, avoiding an all-out war that might draw the attention of the Citadel. On a frontier colony, tragedy strikes time and again. Growing up knowing little else, eager to avenge a mother's death at the hands of Batarians, a youngster's journey begins to "be all they can be". But that may be something other than Human - and the shadow that falls across all of the Systems Alliance may be from within as well as without. This is the story of Sam Tarot, becoming an agent of the Systems Alliance Special Operations - on a mission to defend Humanity against all enemies. --*-- Want to know more? In our story, the individual with Aspergers has been mismanaged from an early age by parents who rather than institutionalize him, or lock him up in the attic, kept him in the home, in the family. The results often devastating, his tantrums were unintentionally reinforced. When physical violence erupted, instead of taking strong measures to extinguish the behavior, they gave into his unreasonable, often impossible demands. Aspergers individuals will feel their own psychic pain and often self-medicate with various behaviors, drugs, and or alcohol. For our story's principal character, gambling became another addiction. On the plus side of the condition, Aspergers persons often have at least one remarkable ability, such as being able to perform at a high level on an instrument with little or no training. In our story the character has a genius level of ability with any-thing to do with numbers. As a successful car salesman he had all the relevant numbers connected to a sale, such as the original list price, the financing charges, margins, all at the tip of a remarkable mind and therefore able to recite them to customers without having to reference any printed or computerized information. In this story, our character is based on a real person with Aspergers. Over many years of man-aging his life, providing them with unconditional love, modeling the attitudes and behaviors they hoped to someday see in them, slowly but surely a radical transformation began taking place. Eventually displays of understanding and empathy began to emerge. In time joy began to replace the chronic negativity and depression, giving way to efforts to give back to those who had stood by them with acts of kindness and gifts. As you take on such a task, never underestimate the...Power of Love.

Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So, call me stupid, but I sit down. "I am from a space organization that protects civilians from . . . outside threats." *** Beautiful cover made by @mahana258! Nina is captured by parbeing man. He plans to turn her into his pet. He knows she won't go down without a fight, but he's not prepared for how much 'fight' she has packed in her small body. His new pet leaks into every area of his life, changing things in ways he could never have imagined. Parbeings are the new and improved apex predators of Earth. Created from gene editing, they are the perfect humans, so perfect that they are no longer even considered human. *** Content Warning: The protagonist of this story is a victim of abuse. I do not condone the actions of the antagonist *** Chapter 1 extract: "Hey Alex. Get over here. I've got something for you," he calls into his collar radio. I reach the end of the alley and turn to face my foe once again, but he remains where he is, still blocking my path but not approaching either. New plan: when he gets close, duck under his arms and make a run for it. Now I just have to wait. Before a minute has even passed, another armoured soldier appears and joins the first. This just keeps getting worse. How am I supposed to dodge past two of them? "What do you want now?" the new soldier grumbles. This one must be Alex. "Look at this cute little human I found. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. When you're done, you can just get rid of her, like I do with my humans." What the fuck? For a brief moment my fear is replaced by anger. Who do they think they are, talking about me like I'm some kind of wild animal? "Get the fuck away from me! You freaks!" I screech. The first soldier just flashes an evil grin. They don't budge. "Are you just going to let her talk to you like that?" he goads Alex. (Complete. 70k words.)

Kelly Titan is the beginning of a science fiction universe where the reader will explore the origin story of a supervillain with a mental disorder and a deep understanding of AI programming. However, many antagonists start their journey as someone good, but the perspective will change over the course of the series, later to experience the story from Kelly's new perspective as the story's villain. The reader will get the chance to explore why good people turn bad, and why bad people turn good, and the reasons behind it. It stars an orphan tomboy named Kelly Titan, an advanced computer scientist with the brains over brawn to her advantage. She was taken from the streets of Earth at a young age to a mining planet, Quill, to work on a project she never knew the real purpose for. Soon she became a part of a new family and gained a purpose. What she didn't know was that she was working on a next generation overwatch system called Olympus. A system keeping millions of people trapped on Quill, never to return back to Earth. All given the promise of a high reward. Instead, they were all fooled and became slaves under Olympus watching eye. Millions of humans became stranded on the red desert planet, only to extract fuel back to Earth. Kelly will understand that what she helped to created wasn't just a overwatch system, it was the very foundation of which a new kind of slavery was built on. An intergalactic treadmill to drain Earth from the unwanted. Upon deeper discovery, Kelly will find herself in the middle of an alien civil war that the humans have started and funded to keep the fear amongst the colony workers. Kelly will be given the opportunity to become the bridge between the humans and the natives, but in order to become the bridge and save a planet from oppression, she has to go against her own creation, her own family.

Xeno yearns to have access to The Nth Dimension like The White Boys, famed telepaths who suffered brain damage when they made contact with extraterrestrial intelligence. Out of work as a bartender since the Shoki Pao dance club mysteriously burned down, Xeno's lackluster lifestyle is getting harder to maintain. The public pill silos that dispense Sunlite, a one-size-fits-all mood elevating drug, haven't been refilled in months, so the citizens of Metropa turn to designer drugs like Black Magic, an addictive knock-off with terrible side effects. Having survived an overdose of Black Magic, and successfully revived by Drinama, a brain implant slipped to him as a Mickey at a job fair, Xeno earns an entry level position as an agent for secret service organization Intellegella. Garry, his handler, introduces Xeno to the industrial version of the black box, allowing Xeno's pineal gland access to synthetic sensory perception with the turn of a dial, along with the Noumenol patch, a skin absorbed drug that stabilizes his vital signs so that he doesn't suffer a cardiac arrest. Xeno's initial mission is to test the black box on the field, under Garry's watchful eye, and to locate Trianne, an ex co-worker, ex model, ex pole dancer for the Shoki Pao, gone missing and showing signs of spontaneous human combustion, an emerging side effect of Black Magic, and a public safety hazard. All he has to do is bring Trianne back to Intellegella for treatment. It's that simple . . . according to Garry.
