"I don't like you." I sent him my best glare, crossing my arms over my chest. He just smirked, taking two large steps my way. His eyes held mine, the blueness in them dancing like wildfire. He was so close now, that I had to stop breathing for the sake that he might hear how much of a hard time I was actually having. My heart hammered in my chest, making it feel like it could jump out of my rib cage at any moment. But he didn't stop. Leaning in, I could feel his hot breath on my neck as he spoke. "Babydoll," the nickname itself made me shiver with anticipation. His body heat radiated off of him. I couldn't help but place a hand against his chest. His muscles flexed under my touch. "That's the understatement of the year."
