17 year old Jacob Smith moves into small town Burlington, Vermont  only to discover that his whole life has been a lie.  Its almost the end of the year and the 11th school so far.  When Jacob runs away from home after a fight with his alcoholic mother he runs into a group of shady people then he soon learns he is very similar to.  Jacob must fight to survive or learn to control his powers.
